Needs must. It's time to get active again. Having all these bikes in the garage I might as well use them, as they probably aren't worth much any more. Cycling got trendy, the Wiggins effect, and my stuff is in between 'current' and 'old school'.  Nobody would want it. I'm not cool. So, lets use it. I'm lucky enough to live in a great area for riding, beautiful countryside and many quite lanes. Races have got very expensive so I cant see me doing many of them. Sportives are the same. People paying £40+ to ride on public roads for a few free gels and bars. Not me ta. One thing I have always struggled with is riding when not having goals. I don't appear to be a person who can just go out and ride a few times a week. No goals, no training plan = no pressure to get out. I'm an 'all or nothing' kinda guy when it comes to cycling. I can live like a Monk, not drink, eat healthily, sacrifice personal time for training, follow a plan religious...
